Murdocks Irish Pub in Augsburg

Unfortunately I moved away from Augsburg, but this pub was my personal heaven, the best food and drink, great staff and you just felt at home!

Best Irish pub. Staff are very friendly and attentive. Great location and of course very tasty drinks.

Cozy atmosphere in a classic Irish pub. The selection of drinks is great and the food is very tasty. I especially like the fact that there is real pub food like Sheppard's Pie and Fish and Chips. Service is really friendly and quick. Happy to come back here.

Nice Irish Pub

Very nice, good food, cozy, nice atmosphere but the prices are reduced. For a stew that tasted delicious, € 16? Everyone has to decide for themselves. ?

I can only recommend it. Service friendly. Eat good. There are cool drinks. Beer garden fully cozy. I'm going back.

Very cozy in the shade of the old church wall and the oaks or beeches (admit I didn't pay close attention to it) to enjoy your Guinness. If you are here in Augsburg and you like Guinness you should stop here ... Sláinte

Always a good mood at the pub quiz and friendly service, plus a large selection of beers and dishes. I love coming here!

Waiting times are underground. Waited 90 minutes for the food and the place wasn't nearly full. Have asked twice. They said it would be coming soon. Then said, if food doesn't come in 15 minutes, we'll go. Result: The waiter came after 30 minutes and collected the drinks when prompted, casually said he had canceled the meal in the kitchen 30 minutes ago. Not a word of apology. The store won't see us again. PS: There was only a burger and fish and chips to cook. Usually a matter of 30 minutes at the most.

The staff is always very diligent and always committed! We didn't have to wait a long time for the food and our drinks. That was great because we were very hungry that evening. The tables from the restaurant were immaculately cleaned and the chairs were very comfortable. We are completely pleasantly surprised. We'll both be back for sure.

I never knew a pub would make you pay for things you did not order and get mad at you when you refuse to pay for it (in spite of informing them immediately after serving the dish that it is not what you ordered, and I didn’t eat it) I have worked as a waitress for about 10 years. You don’t treat guests this way

Great beer garden. Everything nicely and deliciously prepared. A good selection of beers. The dogs are also taken care of. Quick service even though the shop was quite full. Thanks to Christian for the optimal support. The prices are sometimes a bit more expensive, especially for the domestic beers, but that is also something special and is therefore okay. We'd love to come back again.

Very nice outside area. Is not a beer garden in the classic sense, as there is no self-service and you shouldn't bring your own food. The service is friendly and quick. Even with good workload, we didn't have to wait long to order. The food is good (Irish pub, you shouldn't expect upscale cuisine) and enough to fill you up.

I really have a lot of understanding for all the Corona measures .. But when I order something to drink, I generally expect that my glass is clean and that there is no lipstick from the previous guest on it, especially at the time. When I mentioned this, my drink was simply poured from one glass into the other .. Unfortunately, this does not work at all, especially if you already mentioned it.

Cozy pub with competent staff. We laughed a lot and felt very comfortable.

Top. Good fun pub. Best to reserve from 7pm because most tables are blocked. Food is good not a gourmet restaurant but a good Irish pub with excellent Irish whiskey selection. Service is American and excellent.

Wonderful pub I found it by googling the nearest Irish pub Jim the owner was a fantastic man the pints aren't over expensive like most Irish pubs and there's a great atmosphere about the place in the words of Arnold I'll be back ?

Very good pub in matters of atmosphere, variety of drinks and almost always full of people! Every Monday there are also quizz nights, in which you participate as team and is lots of fun! Ps: smartphones are forbidden to be used while doing the quiz. All and all 5/5 stars from me!

Great atmosphere, drinks, and events. I love eng quiz night. I've only eaten here once and i bought a chill burger for 13 euros w some fries. Now subtracting fries, for 10-11 euros a burger, I expect the burger to be the size it should be and the quality of Hans Im Gluck or even slightly worse. The burger was just meh and was really overpriced. The bread was far too big for the patty and the patty was far far too big for this little sliver of coleslaw they gave me. I would say they are not at a level to be charging so much for this burger. Knocking off 2 euros would be a good start. Still.. can't recommend this place enough. Love the staff. It's english speaker heaven for Augsburg

Good Irish pub, love going here

Decent Irish pub. It's pretty much what you would expect. Prices are okay, the food is good and they have really cool pub quiz. It's also really international, especially on those occasion but you should definitely make a reservation.

Cosy friendly bar, the most 'irish' bar I've been to in Germany , and I live in rural Ireland by the sea. Superb food followed by superb staff, English is not a problem in this bar and everyone makes you feel welcome. Can get busy as it is very popular with locals and tourists alike. While the prices may be a little high , you certainly get what you pay for . This is my favourite place to go on a Sunday afternoon for a proper full Irish and some beers. Also a great beer garden

Great atmosphere. Come early if you want a table. It can get very full. Prices are a little over the top. Check out the craft beer and the large selection of whiskies.

Super cozy authentic Irish pub. You should be able to speak a few words of English to get along well. The food is good portions and delicious! The prices are upscale, but the location directly on the Red Gate with beer garden on the city wall. The service is fast and friendly. The quiz on Monday is always fully booked.

Decent service, tips don't seem to be appreciated so don't bother! Prices seem quite high!

An Irish pub with actual Irish employees! The food is good across the board, the beer and whiskey selection is great, and the staff/service is awesome! Prices are reasonable for the area and usually a good crowd. Definitely reserve a table if you can. And watch out for the Brazilian bartender, he always has a smile, but he can serve up some tasty drinks!!

Nice, cosy Irish pub with a genuine pub flair. Staff is mostly bilingual (English and German) and very friendly. The meal sizes could use an upgrade though. They have pub quiz every Monday. Overall a nice experience.
